Known as Italys most powerful wine, it is renowned as a full-bodied, rich wine that achieves intensity from the unique process of partially drying the grapes before fermentation. Rich aromas of dark fruit and spice with layers of cherry, plum, mocha, dried fruit flavours, warm oak and a firm, lingering finish.

The addition of easy-to-use crushed grapes enhances the tannin and complexity of this delicious, true to style, red.

Food pairing: Grilled steak, strong dry cheeses (Parmigiano Reggiano, Asiago), antipasto or meat and tomato-based pastas.
