In the United States, Vermentino is a relatively unknown wine varietal. With a deliciously complex profile and light body (think Sauvignon Blanc), because it hasnt gained traction in the US yet, you can get a great quality of wine at an excellent value. Villa di Mare Vermentino is a classic Sicilian white with lively aromas of peach, pear and lime and a subtle minerality that comes from the soil where it is grown. We recommend pairing with seafood (like crab cakes, fish tacos or scallops) or garlicy pesto.
