A brilliant wine – so vivid and brimming with mango and papaya and fresh roses. Very intense, and with quite a rich, unctuous mouthfeel, but deftly balanced, with some spice, sea-splashed stones and hoppy notes too. No added SO2 – amphora fermented and aged blend of 50% Pinot Gris, 40% Gewurztraminer and 10% Riesling. Imogen opened a bottle of the 2016 in early 2023 and it was astonishingly good.
