The Rhne viticultural area surrounds the Rhne River stretching from Lyon to the Mediterranean and has been a renowned wine-producing and trade corridor since the 1700s. A royal decree in 1737 stated that all barrels destined for sale or transport must be branded with letters C.D.R. and so the Ctes du Rhne was born.

The C.D.R. Tete du Rhone White blend is worthy of praise and was recently awarded a rating of 93 points and a gold medal for Best in Class at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition. This wine has a subtle nose with floral aromas and notes of peach and apricots, leading to a nice roundness in the mouth, with final notes of honey and lemon. The blend features 40% White Grenache, 38% Viognier, 10% Roussanne, 6% Clairette, and 6% Bourboulenc.

Pairs well with rich fish and poultry dishes, especially those featuring fruit-based sauces.
