Produced outside Madrid at high altitude on granitic sand and limestone clay, it’s the perfect environment for growing Tempranillo in a balanced way so it doesn’t become too ripe and and hot. The grapes are hand-tended from low-yielding estate-owned vineyards (31 ha/hl average) and showcase balance, concentration and freshness. Flaco has an impressive pedigree, yet it is a classic Swig wine that punches above its weight.
