Wine from Mt Etna, the volcano in Sicily!

Nerello Mascalese is the grape, which is unique to Sicily. Part of what makes this wine so tasty is how the volcanic soils from Mt Etna play a role in making deep, dark and concentrated red cherry fruit but at the same time bright, and downright refreshing. Look for some herbs and menthol notes. A very versatile wine with a range of foods and darn good on its own — you might just fall in love with this wine, like we did.
