This barbed nipple is used to connect a ball valve to 5/8″ hose, or a tight fit on silicone 1/2″ hose. It is stainless steel with 1/2″ NPT male threading on one end and a 5/8″ hose barb on the other end. The ID of the barb is slightly under 1/2″
