2016 – Made from 100% Carignan, this Southern Italian red is concentrated and a deep ruby red. It is intense and fruity with licorice on the finish. An elegant wine with good volume on the palate. The Grotta Rossa name comes froma local grotto where minerals in the rocks have stained the walls a beautiful shade of red.
