Alison Saar is a printmaker, sculptor, and mixed-media artist born in Los Angeles, CA. She earned a dual degree in art history and studio art from Scripps College, Claremont, CA, and an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles.
Saar’s work can be found in the collections of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia; Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge, MA; Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Washington, DC; High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA; and Studio Museum in Harlem, New York City, among others.
Saar lives and works in Los Angeles.
