Lissner wines have a unique ability to express the Alsatian terroir. This Pinot Blanc, for example, comes from the vineyards on the Horn hill, east of Wolxheim. Limestone and sandstone soils, together with the sun and biodiversity, nourish Lissner’s ‘jungle’ as Bruno calls it. Aromatic and herbaceous, with intense notes of citrus fruits, especially lemon, supported by a strong and very pleasant tension and mineral salinity. Complex, with a warm and enveloping finish. A masterpiece!
