Probably the most unique wine we’ve released to date! Fortified Orange Wine was two barrels of Gewrztraminer that we fermented on skins for 2 weeks way back in 2020! The wine had a ton of orange and pith on the nose and in the palate that it always reminded us of Campari, so we wanted to do something fun with it. In barrel for 3+ years, we fortified it, and added caramelized sugar like what is done in many fortified wines and vermouths. It comes in at 18.5% alcohol, and is a very fun little drink at the end of the meal or with some cheese.
