Bakuchiol is an extract from the babchi plant, commonly used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines for its healing, soothing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.According to The British Journal of Dermatology, Bakuchiol is as effective as retinol at targeting fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone butmore gentle on the skin.
