A captivating pt-nat from 64-year-old Grenache Blanc vines rooted in Villafranchian soils in Aspiran.
Only the first pressing is used, completely unsettled, with gravity bottling during the favorable moon phase. After 3 months aging on lees, the wine is hand-disgorged by the La Sorga gang.
The nose is wonderfully aromatic, bursting with pear, anise, green apple and especially vineyard peach. On the palate, you’ll find a fine, delicate effervescence that carries white-fleshed fruits and floral notes (elderflower) before finishing with the characteristic limestone minerality from these marly soils.
I’ve never been a fan of Jackie Chan, but I’m a huge fan of this bottle! Big time!
Perfect for celebratory moments or paired with light appetizers.
