After fermenting as whole bunches for a month, the Grenache from Claude Ughetto’s plot in the Vaucluse was pressed to cuve for a brief rest. Despite being low in alcohol and light in color, it has a lot of character and brilliantly combines Provenal herbs with sun-kissed dark fruit and a lovely, slightly coconutty and tart finish. This is a wine that is best savored chilled in the sun.
