Espiritu de Chile wines are crafted for the adventurer. For those seeking to find some of the best wines the Curic Valley of Chile has to offer. Located 115 miles south of the capital city, Santiago, the Curic Valley features the greatest variety of grapes in the country. The soil of the Curic Valley is some of the most fertile, with deposits of limestone and volcanic rock from the Andes Mountains and is irrigated by snow melt of the Lontue and Teno Rivers.

The grapes used in this White Blend are all sourced from the upper Curic Valley with an elevation of 500-700 ft above sea level and are comprised of a blend of 60% Semillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, and 10% Moscatel. The grapes were carefully harvested and vinified during the night to prevent oxidation. Fermentation temperature was kept between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius to foster the development of fruity aromas. Following alcoholic fermentation, the wine was kept in contact with its lees (leftover yeast particles that aid in textural development in white wines) for two months.

This blend stands out for its aromas of citrus and tropical fruit such as lychee and passion fruit with a hint of white flowers with a fresh finish and crisp acidity. We recommend pairing with seafood, fish or un-ripened cheeses.
