On first pour, the wine presents with lemony straw-colored hues in the glass. With aromas of satsuma orange peel, sweet elderflower and dry hay around the edges. This develops into upfront blackcurrant with a green tea undertone. The palate has a gloriously pithy edge, yet is coated with an oily, multi-layered and textured mouthfeel with pleasant zing. Dont be too rushed in finishing this bottle. The flavors will continue to change over time, once opened. The processing of the blend includes some skin contact, some oak barrel, and some stainless steel and from this chaos comes this multi-layered gem.
