The nose on the Midnight has strong mineral undertones, with expressive aromas of cassis, liquorice and black berries. There are supple tannins on the palate to provide a rounded flavour and a deliciously dry mouth-feel.

Food Pairing

Any Cabernet Sauvignon will meet its perfect match on the barbecue especially if the match is in the form of medium-rare steak or lamb. The smokiness of the meat is the ideal pairing for the woodsmoke notes you will find in the glass.

Add strong, sharp gouda or cheddar and grilled onions to your meat, and you have the ideal dish for our full-bodied red wine. Lamb with plenty of rosemary and lashings of butter is the perfect winter accompaniment for this rich red. If you prefer lighter food, roast chicken and vegetables pair wonderfully with a glass of Midnight.
