Casa Defr (the house of brothers) has been delivering spectacular Venetian wines for 4 generations. Today, they have expanded to include more than 2,000 vine-growers in their territory with the goal of having better control over the quality of the grapes they use and to create more value along the supply chain, resulting in wines that are well-reviewed and awarded but at excellent values.

Their Barbarano Riserva is truly worthy of a 95-point rating. Upon first pour, the intense ruby red color coats the glass. The nose is filled with fragrant aromas of blackberry and raspberry. The mouthfeel is elegant with a fruity body, sweet tannins and seductive finish. You will not want to put this glass down. We recommend pairing with pasta dishes and light second courses.
