2019 was the inaugural vintage for Byrne Farm wines in the cool climate region of Orange with the fruit being grown at approximately 900m above sea level.Their Pinot Noir is a blend of Abel and 777 clones and was handpicked, with 15% whole bunch added.

AboutByrne Farm Wines:Byrne Farm is located in Nashdale, a 10 minute drive out of Orange. A 40 acre, special parcel of land located on the Northern Slope of Mt Canobolas, an extinct volcano with the most beautiful chocolate/red ferrosol soils at 900m altitude, perfect for growing Pinot and Chardonnay.Thefirst Byrne Farm vineyard block was planted in 2020 with plenty of help from friends and family.Byrne Farm aimsto produce wines which express the high altitude, cool climate characteristics that are unique to the region of Orange. Wines that show an abundance of fruit, retain crunchy, mineral acidity and have a long, lingering palate is whattheylike to drink and aim to make.
