Bouchard Pre & Fils, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, maintaining tradition for nearly three centuries across nine generations of winemakers – an almost unbelievable claim to make.

With a sprawl of vineyard holdings over the Cote dOr, they are producing small quantities of an extensive terroir of Burgundy that allows for a deep exploration into old vines, and individual site expression in each cuve.

The wines of Chassagne-Montrachet offer incredible value compared with neighbouring appellations. They are ripe wines with exotic fruit profiles that are respectfully balanced with 50% new oak during elevage. The wine has bold aromas that we come to expect with Chardonnay, and while it has a rich disposition, is incredibly fresh to drink.
