Bouchard Pre & Fils, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, maintaining tradition for nearly three centuries across nine generations of winemakers – an almost unbelievable claim to make.

With a sprawl of vineyard holdings over the Cote dOr, they are producing small quantities of an extensive terroir of Burgundy that allows for a deep exploration into old vines, and individual site expression in each cuve.

The Corton-Charlemagne is a wine of great complexity and drive. It comes from a 3.65 hectare plot that sits at 320m altitude, gaining great freshness in the Chardonnay. Despite being labelled as a warm vintage, the wine is balanced and profound subtle mineral characters, lemon curd and a slippery mouth-feel.
