“This wine needs few words. It is a certified organic, fruit-driven Garnacha that comes across as cheerful and light-hearted. It is not a wine that convinces with great complexity or encourages reflection. Instead, it brings the joy of life into the glass without being clumsy” – Master of Wine/WineTuber Konstantin Baum
From an Irishman by the name of Ray O’Connor, in Cariena, Spain, comes this light-on-its feet organic Garnacha. Hailing from the high-altitude vineyards of Urbezo–an ideal location for organic viticulure, as the cooler nights naturally deter pests and disease–the wine smells of ripe cherries, blackberries and liquorice. It is rich and intense on the palate, with supple tannins, moderate acidity and an invigorating finish. Works well chilled.
