As one of the oldest, most tradition Champagne houses, it demands attention for its ever generous, stunning releases of fizz. The 2014 La Grand Annee (or Great Vintage) is an assembly of 19 crus, mostly in A and Verzenay for the 61% Pinot Noir and Chouilly and Oiry for the 39% Chardonnay.

The wine is fermented in 20 year old oak barrels, sealed and aged for more than twice the time required for vintage Champagne. With a modest dosage of 8 grams per litre, its a wine of precise balance and power.
