When we created Texas 1, we didn’t set out to start a movement. We just wanted to pioneer a new way to distill the spirit we loved. We started with a traditional single malt approach to process and ingredients but with a more virgin oak profile to bring something new to what has become known as American Single Malts. And along the way, we found our purpose to be a leader in this burgeoning category.
