However, the kingdom of Thrace was a key part of Alexanders empire and Thrace was located in modern day Bulgaria. Thats why this stunning Bulgarian wine takes inspiration from one of historys most well-known figures. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from Bulgaria, a country making its name in the United States for delivering exceptional value. With grapes selected from young vines in the country, this wine is vibrant and fresh. A light golden color with tints of green, this wine has notes of freshly cut grass and flowers on the nose. The palate is smooth and fresh, exuding vibrancy throughout. This is actually a great white to pair with mild cheeses but it is also great for fish prepared in a Mediterranean style.
