In 2020 We embarked on an experiment… to create the best Traditional Method Sparkling Wine we could from Bobby Gidda’s homestead block of Chardonnay. A tribute to his wife and daughter (the Queen and Princess in his life) our resulting “Royale” Lineup was born. Our first experiment – Royale, was aged 12 months on lees. Now we are excited to present Royale III – an additional set of bottles that were held back from this vintage to test our sweet spot for lees ageing. Aged 36 Months on lees, this wine offers up additional layers of toasty complexity thanks to the test of time.

Try it on it’s own, or compare it side by side with Royale. You can’t go wrong with celebrating the royalty in your life.

Description:

As elegant as they come. This dry and complex bottle of bubbles is sure to reward with intense aromas and flavours of crushed almonds, fresh brioche, crisp green apples, lemon juice, and fresh white peaches on the long mineral driven finish.

The Story:

In 1978, Sarwan Gidda and family planted our first grapes in West Kelowna. Each wine in this single vineyard, cellar worthy line-up has been picked from the highest quality single block of fruit at each of our proprietors’ homestead sites. The wines were then guided with care in the cellar by Winemaker Daniel Bontorin to showcase the unique terroir that they, like us, have been raised on.
