Theresa Breuer runs the estate, supported by cellar master Hermann Schmoranz. It is indisputable that Berg Schlossberg is the top vineyard site of Rdesheim. Weathered slate with loess and loam give ideal ripening conditions for Riesling whichthrives on the high mineral content of the soil. It is also heat absorbing which isimportant in its ripening process
