10 lb. Medium Plus Toast French Oak Cubes
Made from high quality French oak, these cubes have been seasoned for 3 years and fire toasted by hand. These cubes have a barrel-like gradation of color, which helps provide a slow, controlled extraction process. Oak cubes impart complex flavor and aroma profiles in wine and beer, rivaling those of old favorite barrels. French oak cubes provide a stronger flavor and aroma than American oak cubes. We recommend using 2.5 oz. of Medium Plus Toast French Oak Cubes per 5 gallons of beer or wine.
*A Note on Toast Levels: Medium is the lightest, Heavy Toast is the darkest, and Medium Plus (or House Toast) is between the two.
