Ayala is one of the original twenty-six Grandes Marques. Today owned by Bollinger, Ayala produce fine and elegant Champagnes. Ayala Rose uses a blend of 51% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier and 9% still red wine from Mareuil-sur-A (Pinot Noir from old vines).

This wine reveals a seductive bouquet of red fruits strawberries, raspberries, a hint of cassis, enhanced by the freshness and the finesse delivered by the high proportion of Chardonnay.

Ideal as an aperitif, Ayala`s Rose pairs perfectly with sea food, caviar, scallops, lobster, crab, salmon, Sushis and Asian food are also a very good pairing.

Think Cheeses, then enjoy with The Cheese and Wine Shops soft and mouldy cheeses such as Boursault, Coulommiers, Chaource, Brie, Brillat-Savarin and for Desserts, think of homely crumbles with red berries or figs, almond paste, frangipane pastries such as the French galette des rois.
