Crafted with 100% Barossa grown Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro grapes, this fine GSM wine is super aromatic, juicy and food-friendly. Vibrant ruby red in colour, the wine is highly aromatic with layers of boysenberry, rhubarb, crushed rose petals and cinnamon. The palate is juicy and bright with blueberry flavours and chocolaty tannins. 55% Grenache, 41% Shiraz, 4% Mataro

Yalumba is Australias oldest family owned winery founded in 1849 by Samuel Smith, a British immigrant (he was a Master Brewer in England) and it is still owned by the Hill-Smith family today with their high reputation as an independent producer.

The winery is situated in South Australias Barossa Valley, in a small town called Angaston – an hour north-east of Adelaide. The winery even has its own cooperage, the only one in Oz to enjoy this privilege. Five generations and 167 years later Yalumba, Australias most historic family owned winery, has grown in size and stature, embodying all that has made the Australian wine success story the envy of winemakers the world over.
