The vineyards near the Manhartsberg are defined by granite-rich soils and this unique mineral character is exactly what Stefan wanted to capture in the wine, expressing this terroir as purely as possible.
The grapes come from 45-year-old vines, hand-harvested with care, then direct-pressed and matured in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests for 18 months on the lees before bottling.
Exceptional drinkability for a mineral-driven and very balanced natural wine. Pairs perfectly with strong cheeses, but try with sushi and let me know.
