The grapes, which are a 50/50 blend of hand harvested Pinot Gris and Gewrztraminer, are fermented for 10 days as entire bunches before being pressed off to spend almost a year in barrels. Demands a brief aeration period so let it sit for a few minutes and it will reward you with all its notes of lychee, passionfruit and spices and a very pleasant tannin. This is a full-bodied orange for the books.
