Our merlot vineyard is situated high up on the steep shale slopes of Remhoogte, this cool southerly facing slope is the ideal Aspect for merlot in Stellenbosch. Our merlot is classic in style showing juicy dark fruit on the entry with a broad chalky tannin and fresh acidity bringing balance and length.

Food Pairing

Rich Beef and Lamb dishes, tomato-based stews and curries. Biltong and aged cheeses.
