Extremely long maceration, equally long aging… exactly the type of wine that anyone who believes white grapes should only be drunk young should try. Well, the complexity, opulence, body, and length of this sip state the exact opposite! Velvety and full-mouthed. Herbs and fruits, beautifully balanced. Apple, plums and pear and raisins with a slight clue of spicy ginger. A little smoke and earth in the nose and a very persistent finish in the mouth.
