Weyermann Carafa I A Special De-Husked – 55 lb Bag

This is a de-husked version of the Carafa I malt that adds smooth chocolate and coffee flavors to your batch while minimizing the harsh “roast” notes. While it still provides the bold color and robust body, flavor and aroma that Carafa I typically provides, it does so without the harsh, astringent flavors that are commonly associated with dark-colored and roasted grains.
