Cashmere was created in Washington State University from a crossbred of Cascade & Northern Brewer. A great choice for flavor or aroma additions, it brings complex, fruit notes to your batch. It can also add a smooth bitterness when used earlier in the boil. Beer styles typically associated with this hop include hop forward ales such as Pales Ales and IPAs, Sour Ales, Fruit Ales, Funky Ales.
