This replacement gauge for the low pressure side has standard right hand threads. This means that the “righty tighty, left loosey” rule will apply. To tighten this gauge, turn to the right; to loosen this gauge, turn to the left. Most regulators have the opposite type of threading on the high pressure side to prevent the accidental attachment of a low pressure gauge on the high pressure side.
