The Pumpkin Pie Cream Ale is exactly what you think it is! Unlike many of the other spiced pumpkin beers, this beer features a luscious dose of lactose which renders a super creamy (decadent) mouth-feel and enough pumpkin perfection to bring your mind back to those memorable Thanksgiving dinners of yore, whilst forgetting the horrors of so many hungry family and friends fighting over the last morsel.

Specialty malts: Crystal 10L, Carapils

Other additives: lactose sugar, pumpkin spice pack, vanilla extract powder

The optional pumpkin is not provided with the recipe. It must be purchased separately.
Pumpkin preparation: cut enough small pumpkins into 1 inch cubes to yield 3 – 4 lb. Place the pumpkin on a cooking pan and cook in the oven at 350 F for 30 min or until softened. If pumpkin in unavailable, 3 – 4 lb of canned pumpkin (non-spiced) may be used instead. The pumpkin is added with the grains during mashing.
