2021 – Subtle elegance and sheer beauty come to mind when describing this wine. It pours out of the bottle in a pure ruby red color with an iridescent rim. On the nose it features upfront, fleshy, red raspberry notes enhanced by additional aromas of cherry, red currant, violet, dry bay leaf and roasted notes. The palate is ripe, full of red berry fruits that play over light dry tannins, and a long, pleasing finish. This is an absolute overachiever at this price and is one you can sip on all night long. It will also pair nicely with a charcuterie platter and cheeses, or poached salmon.
