The long awaited Lambrusco tasting is here! The Chiarli family has been instrumental in taking Lambrusco from being just one among innumerable Italian local wines to its status as a popular international phenomenon and one of the countrys primary exports. Over a century after the winery’s founding, the family pioneered the fermentation style that transformed Lambrusco from being dry, fizzy and cloudy, to a beverage that is sweet, red, clear and very pleasantly effervescent. The new process made Lambrusco a sensation and it became the most imported wine category in the US. We will be tasting threeLambruscos from the Chiarli family at our virtual tasting on Friday, December 18th at 7pm. We will be join byKristin Milles from wine importer Dalla Terra and our previous guest during the Li Veli Italian Wine Tasting back in September. The base tasting pack includes two wines, theCleto Chiarli Brut de Noir Roseand theCleto Chiarli Lambrusco di Sorbara Vecchia Modena. A bonus bottle, theCleto Chiarli Lambrusco Centenario Amabilecan also be purchased separately.
