This yuzu sake has gained quite the cult following. It’s juicy, sweet & tart like most yuzu sake — but it has an added complexity due to its base sake. The base sake is a junmai yamahai, yamahai being one of the traditional brewing methods that lends to bigger, bolder & earthier styles of sake. Using this as a base is unique for fruit sakes. The addition of yuzu juice always lowers the alcohol level, making them session-able and easy drinking.
