Breeding/Development: Washington, USA. First dubbed YCR 5 cv., Warrior was developed by Yakima Chief Ranches and arose from the same program that gave us Simcoe. It is known for both high alpha content and high yield in the hopyard.

Brewing Application: Dual purpose, with smooth bittering thanks to a typically low cohumulone level and a sensory profile welcome in hoppy American ales.

Sensory: Mild to moderate with a complex mix of bright citrus, honeysuckle, sweet herbs, and green wood.
