This is not Sagrantinos younger brother; it is a flavorful and age worthy wine in its own right, with great dignity and much potential. The fusion of traditional grapes, Sangiovese and Sagrantino – along with the addition of Barbera (which is actually traditional to Montefalco, but gainedpopularity in Piemonte), ensure this wine has the makings of a future Montefalco classic.
