This is from a new parcel of Pinot Noir recently purchased by Clos du Moulin aux Moines. This 1er Cru vineyard has a remarkable reputation in Beaune, and the wines show beautiful smoky aromas, black cherry, and herbaceous notes. The wines are fleshy and dense (although Moulin aux Moines style always has a light touch), and this has amazing texture and balance
