This wine is bright, moderately saturated ruby-red. Wild aromas of minerals, flowers and game, with a suggestion of dried fruits. Creamy, thick and highly concentrated, with a texture of liquid silk. This saturates every surface in sight with black raspberry and bitter chocolate flavors. Finishes broad and extremely long, with totally ripe, suave tannins.

  A reticent but extremely fresh nose of fresh wild red berry fruit, spice and earth notes, all of which continue onto the very backward, intense, full-bodied and quite serious well-muscled flavors that possess plenty of mid-palate extract that pushes the dense but fine tannins to the background. This fabulous effort has the overall balance and underlying material to improve for the next 20 years. In a word, brilliant.
