This is a textbook example of a fresh, precise expression of Albario. A floral, blossomy nose with peach and apricot aromas which carry through on the palate with taut structure, complex fresh fruit, understated mid-palate weight, all on a strong backbone of mineral acidity. A great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc. A seriously undervalued wine in our opinion! A great wine to pair with fish, especially shellfish.
