Food grade plastic does not stain or breathe. Lid (included) has drilled grommeted hole to fit an airlock (10 gallon lid is solid – has no hole). Be sure to buy a size up from your batch size. Example, if you are doing a 1-gallon, use a 2 gallon bucket; 5-gallon batch, use a 6.5;6-gallon use 7.9 bucket. All buckets are food-grade and come with lids. 6.5 and 7.9 buckets are available with a bottling spigot (bucket has a drilled hole and comes with plastic spigot)
