VQA Niagara Peninsula
Tasting Notes:Ripe apple aromatics, with some apricots thrown in for good measure, along with apple blossom and an edgy whiff of Niagara limestone. Its a glass of tree fruit with a crisp, clean acidity that keeps the palate refreshed and balances the natural body that Chardonnay exudes.
Food Pairing: White fish, scallops, chicken salad, chickpea pesto soup, fried chicken sandwich, tuna tartare, sushi, linguine with clams, mushroom pizza.
This classic wine is a truly pure expression of the Chardonnay grape. Made without the use of oak to allow its character to really shine. Harvested from a few vineyards across the Niagara Peninsula, this wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with some lees stirring and malolactic fermentation to contribute to the texture and body of the wine. Its fruity, smooth, refreshing and great with food!
