Bouchard Pre & Fils, is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, maintaining tradition for nearly three centuries across nine generations of winemakers – an almost unbelievable claim to make.

With a sprawl of vineyard holdings over the Cote dOr, they are producing small quantities of an extensive terroir of Burgundy that allows for a deep exploration into old vines, and individual site expression in each cuve.

The plot of Les Marconnets extends over 9.39-hectares planted to Pinot Noir over a clay dominant soil of scattered limestone parts. The wine that comes from here shows a density of flavour that acts as a silky base for more nuanced spice and floral high tones. Its beauty is in its ability to balance depth and purity.
