Season Profile: 2022 started with cool spring temperatures and a wetter June which delayed bloom by 20 days. Given the late start, we thinned early to balance the fruit load with what could be a short season. Degree day accumulations we a bit below normal through to the end of August, but September and October weather was exceptionally warm and dry which finished the fruit to perfection.
